Below are a selection of projects managed and achieved by our management committee over the years..

Facilities
Renovation
Following a comprehensive structural report, our 50-year-old pavilion was deemed unsafe. Thanks to Section 106 funding from a local housing development project, WAPFT secured the resources needed for a full renovation. A local businessman and his workforce generously donated their time and expertise to complete the renovation, ensuring the pavilion meets the current and future needs of our community.

Playground
Upgrade
The original lottery-funded playground had served the community well. After consulting with residents, new equipment was selected and voted on. Additional funding allowed the Trust to partner with Proludic to oversee and deliver the exciting new playground project.

Cricket
Practise Net
A joint venture between the village cricket club and local councils led to the installation of an outdoor cricket net facility. It provides playing members and local residents the opportunity to get involved and develop their skills.

Fence Repairs
Our eastern boundary fence was in desperate need of replacement. With the help of local farmers S. Daws and Sons, 90 metres of new stock fencing has been successfully installed.

Security Gate
Following an incident involving members of the travelling community, measure were discussed to enhance site security. As a result, a modern, high-restriction security gate has been installed at the entrance. We extend our thanks to the local council for organising and funding this important project.

Car Parking
Ongoing challenges with off-field parking during the winter months, combined with the Trust’s commitment to ensuring child safety around the playground, have highlighted the need for a designated car parking area. Investigations into suitable solutions are currently underway.
