Whatton and Aslockton Playing Field Trust is managed by:
The Sole Trustee which is a Joint Committee of Whatton-in-the-Vale Parish Council and Aslockton Parish Council. The Sole Trustee has delegated the management of the Playing Field to the Playing Field Committee.
The Playing Field Committee Officers are elected by the Playing Field Committee on an annual basis.
The Playing Field Committee consists of appointed members and elected (by residents) members. The appointed members are appointed annually by their respective bodies. Elected Members are elected by residents of Whatton-in-the-Vale and Aslockton who attend the Annual General Meeting of the Playing Field Committee in May or June of each year.

The Trustee delegates the day-today management of the facility to the Playing Field Management Committee.
The field is managed by the Playing Field Management Committee. The rules governing the conduct of the Management Committee may be download below.
In June 2023, Aslockton Parish Council and Whatton Parish Council agreed that one member would be appointed to the Management Committee on behalf of the Trustees.

On 19th June 2018, Adrian Curzon took over the role of Playing Field Manager.
His role is to oversee the maintenance and use of the playing field and pavilion and will liaise with the Management Committee and the sports clubs.
